Thunderhill German Wirehaired Pointers
German Wirehaired Pointers from Thunderhill Kennels are bred to be natural
pointers and retrievers for upland game and waterfowl hunters. Their
natural abilities include cooperation, superior noses, search and
tracking. These dogs love the water.
Thunderhill's German Wirehaired Pointers are line bred from our foundation
male, Thunderhill's Frisco (4/86-3/99). Frisco was an exceptional dog. He
was the most intense pointer we have ever seen. Although he was never
tested, his descendents have excelled in NAVHDA testing. Frisco
was a truly versatile dog, he hunted grouse, woodcock, pheasant, ducks,
geese, rabbits and tracked wounded deer and bear.
